Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Museum of Russian Art for its collection of early Russian masters and the welcoming, knowledgeable staff. While some find the museum small, most appreciate its manageable size for a focused and enriching art experience. Special exhibitions are a notable draw.

"Not a big museum, two floors, mostly paintings, also some sculptures and porcelain figurines, it will take you around 45 minutes to see all. I have very little interest in sketches for theatrical performances and there are a lot of them. But there are good paintings besides that, so I was satisfied. There are paintings by Goncharova, Nesterov, Borisov-Musatov, Somov, Rerich, Kuprin, Falk."
