What to do if on a 2 day visit?
My dad and I are visiting in early August, flying in on the the afternoon/evening of the 7th and leaving by train the afternoon of the 9th. We both wanted to see the wildflowers but I'm reading it might be too early for that so is there anything we absolutely need to see or do?…

"My favorite spot in Perth.
This place gives you reminder that how Australia started by westerners. Once you step inside, your time traveling starts.
I can't believe that I could actually get into the old fashioned historical trains from all Australia like this way so even while sitting on the seats, I couldn't believe that actually I was doing that.
Really wanted to purchase a yearly ticket and just sitting there on every Wednesday and Saturday.
Their souvenirs were great as well. I could get the actual antique dishes and bed sheets that used for those trains.
When I think about this place, it just makes me happy. Definitely I'll go back here soon."

"Rail enthusiasts galore and the curious (me) wandered through WA railway history yesterday as the museum allowed us to experience first time and remember experiences from our youth of travelling in some of the trains.
I enjoyed it and the cross section of our community was evenly spread across generations. Well worth the visit and would go again."
