What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Contos Beach is lauded for its breathtaking natural beauty, with stunning turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs. Visitors appreciate its quiet atmosphere and scenic lookout points, making it a picturesque stop. However, the rough and rutted access road is a frequent complaint, and the strong currents and surf can make swimming dangerous.
"Another beautiful beach typical of this region. The dirt/sand road down can absolutely be driven by a 2WD car (saw someone in a Suzuki Swift) but go with a 4WD for a more comfortable ride. From the car park there is a short-medium walk down hill. Easy enough, I achieved while carrying a 12 month old. Great beach for families and surfers alike."
