"My grandfather, W.A. ("Bob") Frazer was the station master at Bowenfels in the 1950s. We used to visit from Sydney in the school holidays.
There was a goods siding between the house (stationmaster's cottage) and the main line. At the end closest to the station was a ramp where coal was loaded onto rail trucks.
Further west on the siding was a goods shed where larger freight items were stored after being dropped off or before being collected."
