What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cowaramup Brewing Company offers a picturesque setting with a good selection of craft beers, making it a popular stop for its idyllic beer garden and dog-friendly atmosphere. However, potential visitors should be aware of reported long wait times for food, even during off-peak hours, and mixed reviews on food quality.
"Food took over 1.5 hours to arrive, when it did arrive it was cold. The pizza was FINALLY ready when we got up and left and it looked like this. The place was quite empty too so I don’t understand why there was any wait and the food was subpar as well. The Korean chicken was definitely just covered in ketchup for some reason and the rice was cold. If you’re going to microwave food at least be quick with it."

"It looked like a great set up with a wooden deck overlooking a nice beer garden with great views over neighbouring farms so we were encouraged. The menu was limited with pizzas, hamburger and a few specials so we tried some chicken wings and a pizza to share. The 3 wings ($13) came with sweet chilli sauce which we could barely taste and the meat was full of black veins (?) which we had to pull out. The menu said grilled but was barely cooked through. The spicy sicillian pizza ($30) was appalling. Maybe a medium size, not spicy. Tiny, cut up prawns were on some slices but not all. Just cheese, splash of sour cream , rocket lettuce. Very disappointing."

"Staying down the road at 8 Paddocks for a wedding anniversary. We often come down south on camping trips and have done since we met. Hubby is WA born and raised and never knew about this great brewery. Now we know we will be back. Couple of grumpy people at the same time ordering and not understanding that as a smaller business we are lucky to even have food still being served. We only waited about 30min for this fabulous food. Have a little playground for the kids. Fantastic brews on tap and a lovely Owner who is always keen and proud to tell you all about his beers. Loved the chocolate porter and hubby loved the Irish Red. Had some great rainbows and lovely sun ☀️ will be definitely stopping in on the way home in a few days. Has great specials on including 10$ pints from 430! Thanks for having us!"
