What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Big Crystal Creek Paradise Waterhole, calling it a 'lovely bit of paradise' with 'gorgeous, super clear and clean water.' The accessibility, natural beauty, and refreshing cold water are major draws. While some mention the water's chill, most find it a perfect spot for cooling off and enjoying nature.
"Lovely bit of paradise, aptly named. Located at Big Crystal Creek, this is a great place to cool off, and believe me, the water is really cold. People were jumping off the rocks. You can see right down to the bottom and there are fish here. It is close to the car park so not much walking. A couple of locals told us that the floods had swept away a lot of trees and opened it up. The floods even created a beach where there wasn't one. They said it looks much prettier now. I can see from the previous photos that they were right. There are picnic tables and free BBQs as well with plenty of shade. Worth the visit."
