"The run-off from the houses surrounding the valley have led to a very scrappy ecosystem. Grass, blackberries and other introduced species have overtaken the local flora. Get away from the houses though and there is some lovely natural scrubby bush with lots of wildlife."
Bernard
"I just love coming here! The undulating hills provide an exciting spot for bushwalkers, mountain bikers and the cyclists. It is a delight to find that there is somewhere so shady, so beautiful so close to the CBD! One can walk for miles around here and through here! The trees near the White Fryers School near the Park St side of Mullum Mullum Creek provide a fertile ground for wild life! There are so many species of birds and wild life that it is such a joy to sit on the many benches to watch! The noisy and strikingly beautiful rainbow lorikeet birds work in packs around here and are very dominant and loud! There are flying ducks, frogmouth, nankeen night heron, yellow - tailed black cockatoo, galas, ... just to name a few! The whole Mullum Mullum Reserve will get even busier when the long awaited Mullum Mullum Creek Trail is completed by early 2018! Watch the space! Hope it helps!"
