Reviews Summary
Visitors find Dunkeld Arboretum a lovely, peaceful spot for walks, appreciating the birdlife, kangaroos, and the historic sawmill. While some note the 'collection of the world's trees' claim is exaggerated, most agree it's a well-maintained and worthwhile visit, especially for dog walkers and photographers.
"Really lovely to walk around and the path from the caravan park is a nice walk aswell.
Lots of birdlife around and sawmill right there.
Very dry at the moment, but looks well maintained"
Keira Nicolls
"Good spot to walk the dogs on leash if visiting Dunkeld. It has multiple wooden bridges to walk across the pond, kangaroos and ducks. Only removing a star because it's not really a collection of the world's trees as promised - that claim is a bit far fetched. Lovely place nonetheless and worth the visit especially if you need a place to walk the dog!"

"Lovely walk around the lake. Plenty of birds and kangaroos. Lots of big old trees. I would have appreciated if the gum trees were identified also."
