What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about The Farm Byron Bay's beautiful scenery, friendly animals, and delicious food, particularly from the bakery. While some find the restaurant and shop prices steep, the overall atmosphere and farm-to-table experience are highly praised, making it a must-visit for many.
"We visited over the weekend and arrived around 7:30am—already about 70% of the car park was full, so it's clearly a popular spot. We didn’t join a tour and instead wandered around the farm with our dog on-leash. The farm is well signed, making it easy to navigate on your own. There’s a great variety of farm animals, a lovely macadamia orchard, and other produce to explore.
We grabbed a coffee, lemon meringue tart, Portuguese tart, ham and cheese croissant, and a jar of mixed nuts along with fresh eggs. The food was great—though prices are on the higher side, which is expected for a tourist-oriented location.
The older lady at the cashier was polite and courteous. However, the younger staff around the coffee area were less helpful. I felt I was treated differently, being asked to wait outside for my order while others were clearly allowed to wait inside. It was disappointing and felt discriminatory. The service here could definitely be improved."

"A gorgeous working farm with so much to offer.
Lots of local produce, fresh cut flowers, plants, a cafe, ice creamery and restaurant on site.
We visited as a couple, but so much to see for kids and families too.
Lots of open green spaces, the opportunity to sign up for hands-on, educational sessions or just wander around taking it all in with a coffee.
We took home a ready made meal, cheese, wine and small goods for a platter.
Don't miss this, a must do in Byron."

"What a beautiful, picturesque, peaceful, piece of landscape….
Filled with very farm like building, animals, plants & outdoor gardens.
If you’re in the area, you must come experience some time at the farm, you have the choice of the bakery & the restaurant for a meal, indoors or outdoors, there’s also ice cream, animals, plants, a florist & lots of healthy food / supplements / drinks / timber chopping boards / merchandise / etc etc to purchase.
The service is great & speedy too, we started in the restaurant however we weren’t overly excited with the lunch menu so we decided to try the bakery instead with some hot drinks.
Overall, the restaurant & bakery are a bit pricey, however the food was delicious, especially the cauliflower & curry soup!
The aesthetic & ambience is very pleasant, you could spend hours here just soaking up the atmosphere."
