Visitors love the gentle waves suitable for beginners and the scenic walk to the lighthouse. However, the limited and costly parking, along with crowds during holidays, are noted drawbacks.
"Lovely spot!
Wasn't too busy when we were here. Great setup for a quick bbq and swim.
It has a beautiful scenic walk to the light tower, which is perfect during whale watching season!"

"Beautiful beach here. But it gets really busy here on the holidays. Not many parking spaces here and it will cost you $5 an hour. Get here early for a good spot on the beach. There is a walking path leading up to the lighthouse but it isn't wheelchair friendly. There are toilets close by as well as a cafe. Highly recommend going to have a look 🙂."
Ruth Mavroleon
"Outstanding beach. Smaller waves that others but a great location for beginners. Small beach area compared to other beaches but still plenty of room to lay down in the sun. The area has showers and BBQ set up near the bathrooms."
