What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rushall Reserve is cherished for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, offering a serene escape within the city. It's particularly lauded as an excellent off-leash dog park. While some appreciate the natural, unmanicured feel, others might prefer more developed park amenities.
"Great space for dogs. They have planted new vegatation and got rid of some ferral trees. The place looks good especially when creek is in full flow. To spend time here in the middle of a city is to be at peace in a beautiful area🌅"
Callum “Kai” Van Kampen
"Nice and quiet, a good place to take your dog off leash! It's not a manicured garden, just your standard open grassed area. The path leads to a dead end so no through-traffic from cyclists (for now, the council are looking at changing this). Be mindful that snakes live by the river so be aware during the warm season. There is no reasonable access to the river and you definitely wouldn't swim here!"
Sarah Ireland
"Secluded park at the end of a path. Good for quiet hangs, deep conversations and lovely times with your dog. Occasional train going past does remind you you're in the middle of Melbourne's northern suburbs though."
