There are plenty of parks to store even the biggest boat and 3 boat ramps so you won’t be waiting long to put one in the water
This site hosts shipwrecks and low sandbanks you can beach at
Due to the low speed boats have to take, kayaking is a top idea, and the lack of current combined with smooth water make it real easy to get around
If you’re lucky you may get to see a dolphin or two, just be warned that interacting with them is apparently a no go.

"Good place to be with family and friends. Ample parking. Lovely views specially when weather is good. Kayaking needs to be pre booked if planning to go with a guide/group."

"Garden Island/Dolphin Sanctuary is a lovely place to visit, if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of some dolphins. Also a nice place to have a picnic, there is a shaded area,bbq, toilets even kayaks to hire. A good day out."
