"Pretty decent park that not only serves as a shortcut to the train station (or CBD) but has enough grass, gardens, seats and paths to be relaxing and accommmodating. Markets and concerts here occasionally are always good. I had my wedding photos done here a long time ago. A longer a time ago, when colonists arrived here circa 1830s, it used to be a water resource and if you catch Addy articles from those times you can read about drunks falling in to it or animals (not drunk... I hope)."
