As others have noted, there are loads of other trees growing at an angle in this area with prevailing winds coming in from the coast, but this is the granddaddy of them all!
It is located on private land, so the viewing spot is behind a sturdy fence, and rightly so. I can’t imagine it would survive long if people were able to get to it.
