"A beautiful place with an interesting history. Perched just above the river, it is extremely charming and photographic. Unfortunately, the church was locked at the time of our visit."

"Today on my bicycle ride I found the All Saints Church, the oldest church of WA in which its first service was held on 10 Jan 1841. It was built between 1838 and 1840 on this small hill overlooking the Swan River. Repair works were undertaken in 1938 and 1962 but an extensive restoration in 1988 with Government funding. The cemetry surronds the church and a memorial wall was built in the South West corner of the cemetry in 1974. The Anglican Church has two churches in the area, All Saints in Henley Brook and St. Mary's in Middle Swan. It is only open by appointment, used for weddings and Holy Communion on Sundays. Because it was closed, I could only take pictures of the inside through the windows. This hiden gem is definitly a must see."
