"The grounds of this cemetery appear to be very well attended to. Only able to visit the resting place of relatives here, when I visit Geelong every few years, I have always found the grounds to be well tended (which i'm grateful for, as family of our ancestors no longer reside in the area).
The monumental section has so many historic, old graves - well worth a visit if you have ancestors resting here, and even if not.
The rose garden is currently (October 2022) bearing many blooms, which in its own right also holds such beauty.
Leashed dogs are welcome within the grounds, so long as any excrement is removed immediately, they cause no damage to the grounds/graves - all of which is totally understandable and reasonable to give respect to the site and the person's resting there."
