"My fav spot to shoot birdlife after work to unwind, few walk paths and now 3 bird waterer's installed.. The red tail cockatoo's love to take them over mostly..Theres a cute family of tawny frog mouth birds there and a cple of brown goshawks. Also the rainbow bee eaters nest there and are so colourful. Theres a dogpark and playing fields for all to enjoy and public toilets and parking right next to the park.
City of Victoria Park have various publications on the history of the area and the newest "the birds of jirdarup bushlands" might just contain a few of my snaps. hehe.."

"It’s ok, definitely not one of the better options as far as bush reserves go. There is a significant amount of wildlife however, birds, reptiles, small mammals and a few stray (or roaming) cats. The large trees surrounding the sporting oval which is attached to the reserve are home to a large number of red-tailed cockatoos and if you’re lucky you might find a feather on the ground with that striking red colour in it."
