"All of the dishes were pretty good and the staff were all super friendly. I especially liked the beef Wellington which was full of flavour but with the other meat dishes, we found that they were lacking in spice. The vegetables that accompanied it were a bit old though making them a bit fibrous."

"We had an amazing day at The Charthouse restaurant on Sat 28 June for lunch in the courtyard under the amber grapevine. We were visiting from Brisbane and ordered a range of dishes including a delicious Beef Wellington and the spicy curry. Both were excellent. Also remarkable was our waitress Tracey who has worked for the owner for an impressive 31 years! Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey and she elevated our dining experience to a 10/10! Thank you to all 🤩"

"Nice setting out the back of the main pub. The acoustics were not great as it was somewhat loud despite the room only being a quarter full. The food was well done (seafood chowder and chilli muscles) but the chilli muscles lacked chilli which was a pity. To be fare, we did mention it and they responded well. Service was very good and would certainly draw me back again. Will just ask for extra chilli next time. Reasonably priced as well."
