What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the awe-inspiring scale of the ancient fig tree and the enchanting rainforest boardwalk. The 4WD adventure to reach the location, including creek crossings, is a significant draw for many. However, the lack of cell service and the challenging nature of the track for non-4WD vehicles are noted drawbacks.
"Nice little easy 4x4 to get in, but does have some small river crossings. Beautiful tree with a nice walk. Perfect for the learning 4x4 drivers. No cell reception so make sure someone knows where you are going in case you get stuck. Definitely be prepared with winch or something to get out of holes if you go past fig tree. There are a few dodgy areas back there. Also know there is no way out except where you came from so don't pass anything you don't want to come back through."

"4wd only. To get here you have to cross three 1 meter deep creeks (depending of the season how deep creek is. I was in march). Despite of it it's worth to drive here. The highlight of this place is the curtain fig tree. Apparently it's 1000 years old (i have heard it from locals). Its short 300m boardwalk through rainforest where you can see two massive fig trees."

"Couldnβt cross the creek in my mid size SUV but will be back π"
