What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Liffey Falls for its stunning beauty and the enchanting rainforest walk. The journey to the falls is as captivating as the destination itself, with many appreciating the natural surroundings and the chance to spot wildlife. While the walk can be challenging with its stairs and inclines, the reward is a truly memorable experience.
"Very beautiful and calming waterfall. Love that the hike down you get to see different views of the waterfall before finally being presented with the whole majesty of it at the base. What makes it better is that the path down is also just as mesmerising as the waterfall. The beautiful tress and ferns that grace the pathway down is by itself its own attraction I would say. So you get a beautiful waterfall + amazing nature forest walk.
The hike down probably takes only 20mins and the hike back up slightly longer due to the stairs and inclines, but there are plenty of benches along the way or big cut-out logs for you to take a seat and rest.
The water is pretty calm so you can walk out among the rocks and take really nice photos."

"Great spot…
Large tree down just before the top car park so access is blocked - park at overflow until it’s cleared.
Keep a lookout for the sneaky Platypus mid falls!! (500m above the main falls)👍🏻😆"

"We visited the falls at the end of August so they were pumping! The walk was short but a little challenging, many stairs and a fairly steep climb back to the car park but nothing too strenuous. Absolutely beautiful. The road in is not well maintained unfortunately and very narrow in places so take your time and go slow. Also, the public toilets have no running water to wash your hands."
