其實今天只想要 通處迷路🧭 Kahlpahlim Rock (Lambs Head) trekking loop⛰️ Slept at Upper Davies Creek camping area (Nodes 7 & 8 are the nearest spot), hike up early morning. Dry wind with sunshine☀️, NO LEECHES 🪱🪱🪱 this time! ☺️ Hike the loop anti-clockwise recommended. Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views from Kahlpahlim Rock, calling it the most scenic lookout in the Cairns region. The diverse trail through rainforest and woodlands is also a highlight. However, be prepared for challenging steep climbs, potential leeches after rain, and the possibility of obscured views if the weather is not clear.

"Do this early morning yesterday. Its raining, muddy and wet. Busy remove some leeches as well.We start at 7am and reach the peak 9.46am. Its cloudy at the top and surely can see nothing much but still a unbelievable experience. Prefer to do it again on dry season and going for clear view at the peak of Kahlpahlim Rock."

"A beautiful walk through rainforest, woodlands, and refreshingly grassy hills scattered with photogenic boulders. It is recommended to take the whole day out to do this one as there are plenty of sights to stop and admire. Also take plenty of water (3-4L to be safe) and something to eat. On wet days there are plenty of leeches to pick off your arms and legs. The view at the peak is worth every drop of sweat; it's a truly beautiful view of Cairns and beyond. Only relatively fit and moderately experienced hikers recommended."

"Hands down, the most scenic lookout/views in the cairns region, period. With 4 viewing areas (one of which is not for the faint hearted) (or 2 really...) you can see a full 360 degrees from the top of the lamb range. On a clear day this hike is a must do! The trail begins about 20mins drive from the turnoff into Davies Creek. Davies Creek road is dirt so be careful on the slippery dust. As long as there hasn't been too much recent rain the road should be pretty flat. The hiking trail has 2 seperate ways one of which is steeper but arguably quicker and the other more drawn out but both meet about 20mins from the top. I always take the steep route since the car park for it is the first one. Be wary of whip snakes and red bellies as iv seen a few. If your not a confident climber than don't attempt any of the more technical lookout areas since you could injure yourself very seriously since it's a long way down. Definitely take a bit of extra water because you will end up being up there longer than you think since each lookout has its own unique journey. This walk is a must do if you want to do a hike with a view I can't say much more than enjoy!"
