"I stayed overnight at Mindarie Marina. The rooms would probably be okay for a summer stay, but on a cold winter day they were substandard - polished concrete floors on a cold winter morning aren't pleasant; maybevput down sone extra floor rugs in winter? The heating system wasn't working, the heat settings were blowing out cold air. The reception manager did provide a small fan heater which was appreciated. No plates or cutlery, had to ask the restaurant downstairs to provide cutlery with the takeaway. No power points near the bed. The shower screen had gaps which leaked water over half the bathroom floor. No fan in the bathroom. No reminder emails or messages. No mention prior or on checking in of dedicated parking bays for hotel guests which were limited anyway and full. It's a shame that there isn't more attention to detail in the accommodation part of the business, because the location is great and given the limited accommodation options in the northern suburbs, this place could be really welcoming, year-round. Won't be recommending to friends."

"A beautiful setting overlooking the marina and local waterways. We sat at an outside table as we were travelling and had our small dog with us. The staff were very accepting of our dog, even providing a water bowl for him. My brother and I had garlic prawns, which were delicious, and I enjoyed a glass of pink moscato, tasting of strawberries. My husband had a pumpkin salad with haloumi, which he said was very good. We loved our relaxing lunch by the water."
