"This park is very well maintained and such a pleasant place to sit for awhile and relax. The gardens are well kept and some very well established trees adding to the charm.
Facilities on offer are quite a few seating places both shaded and uncovered. There are ample bins, both general waste and recycle, provided to get rid of any rubbish you might have. There is public toilet facilities with parking nearby and is disability friendly.
To really enjoy the surroundings head out on a Saturday when the local market is on in High Street as there is usually food on offer which you can take to the park and enjoy. But there are also local cafes and shops close by if you prefer to use them."

"Always well looked after and a credit to the people who maintain it. The roses at the church end of the park are my favourite. A really lovely park for an historic town. Shame about the fountain though."
