Come explore The Punchbowl!! 🍹🥾 This was a really cool little hike, we first just headed to the lookout of the Onkaparinga Gorge, but after seeing a marker for the trail down to the waterhole, we couldn’t resist the temptation. The walk to the lookout is very easy and accessible, smooth gravel and relatively flat. The next walk was a lot steeper, descending extremely dramatically into the gorge. ...

"A truly hidden gem of the Onk Valley Park that I never had visited in 40yrs although living within half hr drive of the ample carpark and trail entrance.
The well maintained track itself is literally " a walk in the park" taking only just over an hour return for even the most basic level of hiker, generally quite flat with only slightly changing gradients to get the blood flowing through the legs and body.
Lovely scenic vistas up and down the Onk River/Gorge once you reach the well constructed lookout platform, with interesting flora, fauna and wildflowers (early spring) to enjoy along the way."
