"If you are into military history , the Australian Army Infantry Museum at Singleton, currently has the biggest Victoria Cross display outside of Canberra. This is the highest award for valour given to incredible people who have put others ahead of their own safety during combat. Their heroic actions have saved many lives, sometimes at the cost of their own. The museum also has an outstanding permanent display, a gift shop, as well as a cafe with nice light meals, great coffee and delicious cookies. The staff are fantastic, cheerful, making everyone very welcome."
