Reviews Summary

Buxton Contemporary is widely praised as a hidden gem offering free entry to engaging contemporary art exhibitions. Visitors appreciate its prime location next to the NGV and the passionate, helpful staff. While the rotating nature of exhibitions is a highlight, some may wish for longer-running shows.

"A beautiful contemporary art space Next to the national gallery of Victoria. This place is even free to attend! I've only found out because of the open house Melbourne. Staff here, including Anthea, Maddie and Harriet are all highly passionate and helpful. They have an exhibition change every 3 months once so with checking it out whenever people are coming to visit as well as for your own exploration. Today I saw some of the local artist's work in few different mediums."
