"A beautiful home on an equally beautiful block of land. Such a valuable part of Tamworth history preserved including furniture and other items for us and future generations to enjoy. Run by friendly volunteers who are more than willing to provide information about the home and its history and significance. Explore each room then the other buildings on the site. A good hour or so to make sure you see everything. Highly recommended. Open Fridays 1pm to 4pm."

"Our search for this place took us into a part of Tamworth we wouldn't have otherwise seen, high on the hill with many of the older houses surrounding it. So glad we came, as gave us a real insight into Tamworth in its early days and some of the local personalities that lived there. The tour guide was lovely and informative, letting our little boy interact with some of the exhibits and keeping us all entertained and interested. A great small collection run and managed by some dedicated volunteers. Thank you for having us!"
