"We had a lovely winters stay at the Vines. We really enjoyed the peaceful location and the comfortable rooms, and all the staff were very welcoming. My only feedback would be that there were a few small touches lacking- the breakfast was very nice but the area had no ambience, some background music might be nice to soften the constant noise of the coffee machine. Also proper cups for tea and coffee would be nice, the takeaway cups provided made the experience feel cheap. Complimentary drinking water or at least a water dispenser near the room for filling up our own water bottles should really be a standard for a 4 star hotel."

The facilities feel geared towards making sure everyone, no matter their age, has something to enjoy.
If I had to pick a minor downside, it would be the beer selection, which felt a little limited compared to what you’d expect from a resort of this standard. That said, the quality of what’s available is good, and with everything else on offer, it’s not something that would stop me from coming back.
