Reviews Summary
Misery Beach is widely praised as a stunning, pristine beach with crystal-clear waters and soft white sand, often described as a hidden gem and a must-visit in Albany. Visitors appreciate its secluded feel and the beautiful scenery, especially when combined with the nearby Bald Head Walk Trail. However, limited parking and steep steps are noted drawbacks, along with the lack of facilities.
"One of the best beaches in Albany and a nice walk getting to it , amazing water and crystal clear
Great for the family"

"There are a few beaches found off of the Frenchman Road in Torndirrup National Park, including Misery Beach. Take the Misery Beach Rd turnoff. There is a small carpark where you find the beach, which in the past was known for the red stains, an unfortunate result of being near the old Whaling Station just a few hundred metres west.
These days the whaling station has long ceased operating and the beach seems to have been transformed into a pristine spot with beautiful sand meeting crystal clear water. It is a gorgeous little beach, there were only two other people there when we visited recently as well. Misery Beach is a lovely spot to find for picture taking and probably a dip in the water during warmer days."

"Misery Beach in Albany is an absolute hidden gem! With its pristine white sand, crystal-clear waters, and dramatic coastal cliffs, it offers a breathtaking and peaceful escape from the crowds. The secluded nature of the beach makes it feel like your own private paradise, perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply soaking in the stunning scenery.
However, keep in mind that there are no public toilets or showers, and parking is very limited—so plan accordingly. Despite these minor inconveniences, the untouched beauty and tranquility of Misery Beach make it a must-visit spot in Albany!"
