Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Cataract Gorge for its stunning natural beauty and accessibility, calling it a 'must-see' attraction. The chairlift, abundant peacocks, and scenic walking trails are frequent highlights. Some minor inconveniences include occasional path closures and paid parking, but the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.

"What a stunning natural beauty!
I was so grateful we happened to see the sign after leaving the airport and heading through Launceston to our motel.
A gorgeous setting, beautiful walks, we saw peacocks galore and a little echidna by the walk way. The Daffodils were in their full glory and while our budget only allowed us to pick either the chairlift or the cafe we were not disappointed! Our son said best burger ever!!!"

"Overcast day but still just visually stunning. So many peacocks. You can definitely tell that spring has sprung with the wildlife. Easy walks a plenty which was great as we were holidayed out. Had some lovely scones with jam and cream to complete the experience. The cable ride was lovely and the attendants polite and helpful"

Leanne Reid

"Didn't really know what to expect but glad I went. The chair lift was such a fun experience despite my fear of heights. Lots of nice views, various hikes, and many peacocks and other wild animals. Some of the bridges and viewing spots were unfortunately closed, but hopefully we can visit again in future. Nice playground area for kids available too and plenty of parking."
