Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Whitehaven Beach for its breathtaking beauty, particularly the incredibly pure silica sand and the mesmerizing swirling sands of Hill Inlet. Snorkeling in nearby bays like Blue Pearl Bay is also a major highlight, with vibrant coral and abundant marine life. Some find the hike to the lookout rewarding, though it can be hot.
"Such a fabulous place to snorkel. The coral and fish are just amazing. It doesn’t take too many pics to see where the bay gets its name! The water colour is wow!!! We snorkelled in a lot of spots on the Whitsundays but this was one of the best for coral cliffs and fabulous colourful fish. We also did a SUP off the boat. No need for a tender. You can just jump off the boat after mooring and it’s just beautiful!"
Melanie Sharpe
"Solid hike to get here but worth it! Reccommend a great morning walk before it gets too hot!"
George
"After Isle des Pins, New Caledonia, the second best beaches in the world for me. Amazing silicon white sand that makes this place unique."
