Hiked for the second time this year with @_findyourtribe and this time we went Surrey to do the #boxhill Hike. We weaved through woodlands and my goodness sooo many steps but it was all worth it in the end when we looped back to the car park. The slippery surfaces made it a bit challenging but wouldn't have been able to do this 12km without the tribe💚 If hiking is something you want to try, what a...

Reviews Summary

The Box Vale Walking Track is appreciated for its unique railway tunnel and scenic, shaded paths that evoke a sense of natural wonder. While many find it a rewarding walk, some note limited signage and challenging, muddy terrain after rain. It's considered a worthwhile visit, especially for those seeking a less crowded, natural experience.

"Easy walk, we thought it gave lord of the rings vibes in some spots, lots of shadey spots to stop. Very slushy in the tunnel. Not our favourite track but worth a look definitely suggest taking water if its a hot day!"

Tarra Williams

"This is a relatively easy hike to complete.
The track starts opposite to the signage at the beginning .
Small inclines & declines, but nothing too difficult. Getting to the tunnel at the end of the track is rewarding too.
Plenty of fauna/ flora also."

Monica Miruzzi

"This is one of the best walking tracks I have done. This track is an old railway track. Entire track about 15km altogether with the forty foot falls track. Make sure to wear hiking boots if it’s a rainy day because it will be full of mud. You could find the Nattai dam and the tunnel in the track. End of the track you will find the incline track which is difficulty level high. Forty foot falls track is also adventurous."
