"Really great place to see. Informative and well organised. $10 entry fees but totally worth it. Sharks, starfish, turtules and all the other fishes were really good to look at. We liked the section where you can sit and relax by watching school of fish just swimming rapidly in circles."

"Late September visit. Luckily we have wetsuits so we could still enjoy snorkelling with the fish. The tide was crazy strong when big swells came in but totally worth checking out. Would be amazing during summer."

"Just a short hike 10 min down to the beach from the parking area, the water was surprisingly not as cold as I expected. We only spent about an hour here as we didn’t want to be stuck down there at sunset but it was a lot of fun swimming with the fish. The terrain is a bit rough so I don’t recommend bringing small children or if you have mobility issues, snorkelling gear and an underwater camera is a must."

Navigating the Terrain and Tide
Understanding the tide and swell is crucial for both safety and the best experience. While the rock pool offers some protection, strong swells can push you around and significantly reduce water clarity, impacting snorkeling visibility. Checking local marine forecasts before your visit is highly advised to ensure you catch the pool on a calmer day.
Snorkeling and Marine Life
To make the most of your snorkeling adventure, bringing your own gear is essential, as rentals are not typically available. Consider an underwater camera or a waterproof phone case to capture the vibrant underwater world – it's a highly recommended addition by many visitors. Remember to use reef-safe sunscreen to help protect the delicate marine ecosystem you're enjoying.
Best Practices for a Sustainable Visit
