"Great place to visit!"

"We started the hike in Oberarnsdorf (near the Rollfähre). The Hoher Stein is a roughly 60-minute climb. With sturdy footwear and an experienced Tyrolean hiker, you can easily complete it in 120 minutes. We were quite out of breath on the climb, hahaha. The last section is marked with an Alpine sign with the mountain rescue emergency number, so you'll need to be sure-footed. We didn't make it to the top using the ladders and ropes. But the journey is the destination. The weather was wonderful."

"The hike begins in Oberarnsdorf (near the rolling ferry) and takes approximately 60 minutes to reach the Hoher Stein (High Stone). The final section to the summit is reached via ladders and wire ropes (requiring some physical effort). Once you've completed this, all you can do is enjoy it—especially when the fog settles over the Danube in Spitz. There's an easy route back via Mitterarnsdorf."
