"Loved this place. He stayed here several times and enjoyed it, I can understand why. Spacious living room, lots of windows, balcony access, what's not to love. There aren't any original items here (except for the lock of his hair) but the collection shows what it was probably like when he was around.
I came in the morning, there were several children's groups, maybe come in the afternoon to avoid those. Or wait them out in the listening room - they are not permanent, they will do their thing and move on.
Though I wish I understood German to listen in to what the teachers tell the children here."

"Extremely well done, and with unique touches, as well as objects relating to the Great Man.
Very strong on Beethoven’s circle, his patrons-especially Archduke Rudolph, later Bishop of Olomutz; Prince Lobkowitz, etc. Very good on the historical context. Special attention paid to Beethoven’s health.
Interesting selection of the music to listen to-and the Beethoven Remix was great fun!
The room on Beethoven’s 9th is unique."
