What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Rein Abbey for its well-maintained grounds, beautiful architecture, and rich history, with many highlighting the impressive Abbey Church and the unique experience of specialized tours. Some note potential scheduling conflicts with tours and suggest inquiring about English-speaking guides.
"Very well maintained and with an interesting history. However, be aware of guided tours overlapping with specialized tours. Sadly, due to such an overlap with another group in the library, we couldn't stop there with the general guided tour."

"Very clean and well cared theritory. There’s nice souvenir shop where you can buy some angel figures, handmade soup, wine, bracelets and etc. The Abbey by itself is beautiful, the inside of Cathedral - breathtaking and impressive. Worth to visit. The around area is also beautiful, very close to the abbey, starts a path to the closest mountains. Recomend to hike there too!"
Anna Amanda Stolere
"Visited the Abbeyast week and attended the -German-speaking- tour.
As it was a weekday, it was only the two of us, plus another lady. The overall experience was incredible!
The guide took us through various areas of the complex, allowing us access to parts that I'd never been able to visit in other places before.
She took care to engage our interest and even specially showed us some things that were not part of the main tour, seeing as we were a small group with a particular interest in the matter at hand.
We were truly inspired by the entire experience.
A truly great tour that we would whole-heartedly recommend to anyone!"
