It's not open permanently, but the effort to preserve it is appreciated, as the building is now mostly a complex of private apartments. Therefore, it's essential to contact the museum in advance to gather information about when to visit. There are buses from Vienna, and one stops nearby, but depending on the day and time, you may have to change in a nearby town.
