"I might have misunderstood, but there's a difference between the Wasserfallsteig and the Geisterklamm. The Wasserfallsteig was closed when I visited, so I could only walk the other road, which is a steep climb and then you only see the waterfall/gorge from very high up (I walked a bit from the east before going back). It was pretty disappointing because I came to see the water. Otherwise, there's some fun stories along the path and some nice views, but not worth the walk from Mittenwald in my opinion."

"One of the most beautiful trails along the gorge that I have ever walked. Plan a few hours for this trip. Be sure to visit the bridge - it is small, but the views from it are stunning! There is a convenient parking lot nearby, and the trail starts from there."
