"In 1631, Johann Baptist Verda von Verdenberg donated a Capuchin monastery. The monastery was built inTurkish War destroyed in 1683 and rebuilt in 1684. The monastery was built in 1785 under Joseph II.secularized and acquired in 1786 by Giacomo Caliano and for the production of silk and cloths used. By 1806, the use of the building as a chemical bleaching, in 1821 as a theater.In 1833, the entomologist Ernst Heeger acquired it by way of an auction and it was followed by the use as Silk factory.
