It’s shocking that an official service, displaying the ÖBB logo, still refuses card or online payments in 2025. Instead of offering a reasonable solution (such as allowing passengers to pay an extra fee for card transactions or letting them ride into the village to withdraw cash), the staff insisted we walk 2 km to find an ATM and return. Shame on them for such poor service."
