Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Hallstatt Skywalk for its absolutely breathtaking, unforgettable panoramic views of the village and surrounding Alps, calling it a must-visit. However, some find the experience can be exhausting in hot weather due to a lack of shade and limited amenities, and the funicular can be uncomfortably hot and crowded.
"Probably one of the best views you’ll ever see in Austria!
I highly recommend visiting this place and especially on better seasons than I did, I visited in April and it looked pretty good but not as impressive as it could’ve been.
Still this destination is a must!
The tickets to get ontop and back are 24 euros so it’s not too expensive and the salt mines which are behind the view are also pretty interesting but will cost extra to enter."

"Have to do! Best view in the area. Have to pay for parking which can get full fast. Then take cable car up which is around €25 euros. Walk up a flight up stairs, you will see a restaurant and the skywalk is there. Did have to wait in a line to take a picture. Restaurant was closed outside."
