Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Bahrain Postal Museum as a free, underrated gem offering a fascinating glimpse into postal history. Its well-organized collection of stamps and vintage items, combined with a charming cafe and welcoming staff, makes for a short but highly enjoyable visit, especially for history buffs and philatelists.
"The old Post office of Bahrain( now a museum) was a wonderful peek into the days past. This museum is FREE, full of information and a short sweet visit (expect an hour or less). This is an underrated activity, but full of fun if you're into philately or a general history buff. I was short on time, as I had to travel to the airport and catch my post-layover flight; otherwise, I'd spend more time here. The security staff here was nice and welcoming too. It's better than the Kanoo museum adjacent, for which you have to pay almost 3 Dinars."
