"This place is truly a hidden gem for nature lovers and those seeking peace amidst the city's hustle. Located in Mirpur, it offers a refreshing escape with its vast greenery, fresh air, and scenic walking paths. It’s perfect for anyone looking to clear their mind, take a quiet walk, or simply enjoy some alone time.
The area is beautifully maintained in many parts, with a rich collection of plants, flowers, and trees from both local and international origins. The large open spaces, shady trails, and calm lakes make it a great spot to relax, take photos, or read a book under a tree. The air feels noticeably fresher here, which is a big relief from the usual city pollution.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of this place is its peaceful atmosphere—it’s not overly crowded, especially on weekdays. Many people visit for morning walks, light exercise, or just to connect with nature. It’s also a safe and quiet space for those who enjoy spending time alone.
However, there are areas that need improvement. The visiting hours seem too short, especially for those who want to enjoy the peacefulness in the evening. Extending the time would allow more people to enjoy its beauty. Also, the management should be more careful about preventing illegal or harmful activities inside to protect the environment and ensure safety for everyone.
Overall, this place is a wonderful spot that refreshes both body and mind. With a little more care and attention, it has the potential to be one of the top natural attractions in the city."

"The National Botanical Garden at Mirpur in Dhaka, located right next to the Bangladesh National Zoo, covers a wide area filled with a variety of beautiful trees. There are several sections in this garden, including an orchid garden, a cactus garden, an artificial waterfall, a children's park, and several beautiful lakes, among others. I visited the garden on a mild rainy day, which allowed me to enjoy the lush greenery of the trees. While walking, we suddenly encountered cute, small squirrels and enjoyed the occasional chirping of various birds. This is an excellent place for meditation, healing, peaceful walks, and similar activities. There are paid restroom facilities available. I have a request for all future visitors: please do not throw waste, especially plastic, into the lakes or around the garden. Additionally, please keep noise levels down to avoid scaring the birds and animals."
