Reviews Summary

The Vogelenmarkt is a vibrant weekend market offering a wide array of goods, from fresh produce and delicious street food to flowers and clothing. Visitors praise the friendly vendors, affordable prices, and lively atmosphere, especially on Saturdays. However, some are disturbed by the sale of live animals, and the market can be very cold and crowded.

"It’s a weekend Sunday market. Selling from raw vegetables and fruits to cooked food. From clothings to flowers. Would call it a bazaar.

It was too cold and windy in a mid-April. But still it was nice. Bought fruits and ate the croquettes. The stall holders were all very friendly. You also get to taste food at your pleasure before you made a purchase. Overall, great experience but just tooo cold. 🥶"

"Huge market with something for everyone. Lots of interesting food options. Lots of people make for a great atmosphere.

I'm a real market person and this is one I'd gladly revisit."

"It would be so nice if it wasn't for the animals that they sell. They put a lot of animals (bunnies and birds) in a tiny tiny cage. I can't stop thinking about a big parrot in a cage soooo small that it couldn't even move. He was looking so sad! It was very depressing to see! Also, in some kiosks with food, like in the Netherlands, they grab the food/snacks with the bare hands after touching cash, coins etc... the fruits look great though. I love to see the big and shiny cherries."
