What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors have mixed feelings about the Plugstreet 14-18 Experience. While some find it deeply moving and brilliantly designed, particularly for those with family ties to the Tunnellers, others feel the museum exhibits are limited for the entry fee. The interactive displays and timeline map are frequently highlighted as positives, offering a modern and engaging way to learn about WWI.
"Small museum with limited exhibits. Plenty of better museums in the area
5euro fee was reasonable though
Small gift shop and toilets on site too. Purchased a beer glass as a souvenir"

"For me it was a huge disappointment. I was expecting the museum to be much larger. Turns out, that after you enter, you have the video room, and a few items displayed. Not what I was expecting.
Initially the entry fee didn’t sound expensive for a family of four. But the amount of content in the museum does not justify €24 price for a family of four.
Lot of information is provided in text format. Video in four languages and a bunch of pictures displayed that literally has nothing to do with world war 1.
Again, for us it was a huge disappointment. Is it worth a visit? If I had the chance to go back in time, I’d not visit the museum simply for the amount of items inside."

"Absolutely brilliant. An amazing museum, especially for those who have family members in The Tunnellers or Alphabets."
