What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Sint-Truiden for its charming, uncrowded atmosphere and the stunning beauty of its fruit blossoms in spring. The tourist information center receives high marks for its spaciousness, friendly staff, and excellent selection of local products and information. While the town is appreciated for its historical frescoes and peaceful Beguinage, some find the paid maps for walking tours a bit surprising given the free booklets.
"Definitely one of the loveliest tourist office/information I've ever seen, also considering the size of the city! Firstly it is very big and spacious. Then there are plenty of interesting free leaflets of both Sint-Truiden and the surrounding areas, and the gift shop is so well stocked and offers many different items and products. The (young) staff was friendly and let us comfortably have a look at everything. Finally, it was open on a weekend afternoon, which is good and attentive, much appreciated! Would give more ⭐ if I could."
