"great spot for a drink and some music. they have live music on thursdays and it was do lovely to listen to a local artist play! we did get rained out, but it wasn’t too bad. the drinks were delicious, we got the dirty diana and the rooftop breeze. both were fantastic, and honestly i was questioning if there was even any alcohol in the dirty diana, it was THAT smooth. fruity and fresh but not too sweet, either. the staff were all so lovely and accommodating in the rain and overall, it was just a great vibe. i highly recommend to anyone in hamilton to come and grab a drink or two. it’s also right by the ferry (about a 1 minute walk) so it’s a great way to end the day if you need to get back to dockyard or st. george."

However, the film ultimately celebrates the courage it takes to be oneself and to stand by the people you love, regardless of societal expectations.
This theme of authenticity resonates deeply, making 'The Birdcage' more than just a comedy; it's a heartwarming story about acceptance, love, and the strength found in embracing who you are. The film celebrates the creativity and talent of the performers, making the nightclub scenes a visual and auditory feast.
While the film uses drag as a comedic device, it also treats the art form with respect, portraying it as a legitimate and celebrated aspect of the characters' lives and livelihoods. The performances are not just for laughs; they are integral to the identity and success of the Birdcage.
