"The interior of the cathedral is not very impressive, a bit ugly to be honest.
But the view point is absolutely stunning, you can see the panoramic view of the city without any visual blockage. This view point is a lot better than the one on the bell tower where the touristic center is.
The price for entrance is 20 Bs, well worth the price.
There are signs inside the cathedral says you can not take photos but the staff says you can..."

"Very beautiful cathedral. For an entrance fee of 20 bolivianos you get accompanied into the cathedral by the receptionist and you can choose whether you want to walk around by yourself and take some pictures or whether you want to get a short guided tour (which I recommend), during which you can take your photos as well, of course. In the end you get to get up the church tower on your own from where you will have a stunning view over all of the city of Potosí and the Cerro Rico. Definitely a must see and located super centrally."
