A few years ago, I visited a gallery in Sarajevo featuring photos of the aftermath of the Srebrenica Massacre and it was utterly devastating. We need to increase pressure and demand an intervention to stop this going any further and end these atrocities once and for all. #changetheworld #makeadifference #stopwar #endwar #stopviolence

It was a secret underground passage connecting the besieged city to the free Bosnian-held territory, running under the Sarajevo airport. The tunnel allowed for the transport of food, medical supplies, and weapons, and enabled people to e...

Go to Gallery 11/07/95, you can spend a good 2-3 hours in there at least if you watch all the videos (which I recommend) - it's about the sbrenica genocide. I also recommend you take a walking tour to hear a bit more about the war - there's a free war themed one from Nemo and…

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently describe Gallery 11/07/95 as a profoundly moving and essential experience for understanding the Srebrenica genocide and the Bosnian War. While some find the ticket price a bit high for the space, the immersive multimedia content and the highly recommended audio guide are praised for providing deep historical context and personal narratives. The two-day ticket option is seen as a thoughtful inclusion for processing the intense subject matter.

"We visited this place just before leaving Sarajevo. I liked the exhibition and the way of its presentation though tickets were quite expensive for a small space like this one.

Also, we were informed that the tickets are for two days so we could come back the next day but I couldn’t understand the purpose of it as the gallery has only one permanent exhibition and one ongoing exhibition. Ongoing exhibition had very litte material & it was not going to change the next day. So sellimg tickets with 2-day access is something very time specific and not suitable for tourists.

I think it would be a good option to have cheaper tickets for one visit only."

Merve Uslu

"One of the best museums/exhibits I’ve ever been to. I payed a little extra for the audio guide and I highly recommend doing that - it was very interesting and I learned so much. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Sarajevo!"

Fevroniya

"A poignant and ever-relevant exploration of the key tragedies of the Bosnian war, punctuated with incredible and heart-breaking photography. I would recommend, if you have the time, taking advantage of the two-day ticket to fully digest the content of the Gallery. If possible, visit the gallery before fully exploring Sarajevo. A great way to contextualise the beautiful city in light of the conflict that decimated it just 30 years ago."
