"É um pequeno museu no centro da cidade, mantido pela Sociedade Amigos de Brusque. Criado em 1953, após um trabalho de pesquisa junto aos órgãos públicos e privados do Município e do Estado de Sta. Catarina para coletar o maior número de documentos relativos à história da cidade. Em 2024, o museu abriga a coleção chamada Fios da História, expondo a origem da indústria têxtil de Brusque, com suas empresas, líderes empresariais e funcionários no século XIX e XX, até o fechamento dessas mesmas empresas, além de apresentar objetos de época em expositores de vidro. A casa, em estilo alemão enxaimel, foi criada exclusivamente para abrigar esse museu e ninguém jamais morou ali. A visitação é gratuita."
